Ted Hendricks (he born November 1, 1947), nicknamed "the Mad Stork," is a former professional American football linebacker who played for 15 seasons with the Baltimore Colts, the Green Bay Packers, and the Oakland / Los Angeles Raiders in the National Football League (NFL).He played college football for the Miami Hurricanes.Hendricks' Miami jersey was retired in 1997.[6] He was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame. Ted Hendricks was inducted into the University of Miami Sports Hall of Fame in 1980.The Ted Hendricks Award is given annually to college football's top defensive end. The award is presented by his own 501(c) foundation, the Ted Hendricks Foundation.
